These terms of use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms of Use”), together with the General Terms and Conditions found in https://www.mitsis.com/en/terms and the Privacy Policy for “Storytellers by Mitsis” found in https://www.mitsis.com/en/storytellers-privacy-policy constitute the entire agreement applicable to the participation in “Storytellers by Mitsis”, also referred to as “Mitsis Loyalty Club & Card”. These Terms of Use apply to membership in the loyalty programme, including the use of all benefits and advantages provided thereof. Applicants shall read these Terms of Use carefully prior to enrolling in “Storytellers by Mitsis”. By becoming a Member of “Storytellers by Mitsis”, the Member accepts these Terms of Use and agrees to abide by them.

“Storytellers by Mitsis” is provided by Mitsis Group of Companies, all incorporated in Greece (hereinafter referred to as “Mitsis Group of Companies”). 

General

1. The “Storytellers by Mitsis” loyalty programme, also referred to as the “Mitsis Loyalty Club & Card” is the property of Mitsis Group of Companies, its respective owner.

2. Storytellers by Mitsis membership card is personal and non-transferable. One cardholder and one adult beneficiary, provided they are staying in the same room with the cardholder during an eligible stay (meaning a stay that awards Qualifying nights, Base and Tier points, in accordance with the loyalty programme’s accrual rules, as set out in Clause 18), are permitted per membership card and per family. Cardholders’ children under 18 years of age may, also, be beneficiaries of the membership card. Cardholders and the persons designated as beneficiary Members in the Storytellers by Mitsis loyalty Programme are the only individuals who may have access to the applicable benefits related to the cardholder’s tier, per stay. The membership card is strictly personal. Awarded points, Qualifying nights and related benefits are non-transferable or cash refundable. Members may not give, lend, transfer, or resell their membership card.

3. Cardholders must be over 18 years of age and have an email address.

4. Cardholders are obliged to inform the Mitsis Group of Companies of any changes in their name or email address provided under the Storytellers by Mitsis loyalty programme by submitting the form available through the Contact Center/Loyalty Programme/Account support link.

Cardholders may, also, update their own ‘Profile’ settings such as Mobile, Full Address, Date of birth and Citizenship, in the Storytellers’ Hub, by visiting the ‘My Account’ page after logging in at https://mitsis.com/en/storytellers/login with their Storytellers by Mitsis credentials (email and password).

5. Mitsis Group of Companies shall not be held liable for any malfunction caused to the Members of the Storytellers by Mitsis and guests that arise from non-compliance with the above-mentioned.

6. When Members are required to present their membership card, we may request that they show their identification card or passport, to confirm that the person using the membership card is the registered cardholder, according to our records. In case of unauthorized use of a membership card or any other type of fraud, the Member involved may lose the benefits provided by the loyalty programme and / or his or her Storytellers by Mitsis membership.

7. Membership in the Storytellers by Mitsis loyalty programme is granted upon the full and accurate completion of the registration form available at https://mitsis.com/en/storytellers/register or by signing in with your Google or Apple account. Furthermore, in order to activate membership and obtain access to the Member account, the applicant shall be required to verify the email address provided during registration, within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt of the verification email. Failure to complete such verification within the specified timeframe may result in the registration being deemed incomplete, as the Member shall not be granted access to the account.

8. By completing the registration form and becoming a Member, the Member can choose whether to consent to Mitsis Group of Companies sending promotional materials, marketing communications and related mailings to him or her. The cardholder may alter his or her consent to receive promotional communications at any time by visiting the ‘My Account’ page after logging in at https://mitsis.com/en/storytellers/login and selecting the option not to receive promotional communications under Communication Settings. 

9. Associates & employees in the tourism sector are all excluded from this loyalty programme.

10. After completing registration to Storytellers by Mitsis and logging in to the Member account, the Member’s membership card will automatically be displayed on the “Overview” page of the platform. Members of the Storytellers by Mitsis loyalty programme must log in to their account to access and present their card whenever requested for identification or for the use of programme benefits. The digital card available through the Member account constitutes the official membership card for all membership tiers.

11. The Storytellers by Mitsis loyalty programme operates exclusively through membership cards available via the Member’s online account and no physical cards are issued. Members are responsible for maintaining access to their account credentials in order to retrieve and present their card when required. 

12. Mitsis Group of Companies reserve their right to discontinue membership cards and guest accounts if they deem that they have sufficient reasons for doing so. In addition, Mitsis Group of Companies may terminate this loyalty programme, the membership cards of Storytellers by Mitsis, as well as all relevant benefits and privileges thereof, for all Members at any time and for no reason or reimbursement to its Members, with prior notification to all its Members through the website of the Mitsis Group of Companies or by email, if possible. Upon any termination, the rights, benefits and privileges thereof shall cease to exist and become void, in which case the cardholder or the Member of the loyalty programme or Storytellers by Mitsis will have no right to request any reimbursement or conversion of their points to cash or complimentary service.

13. The Storytellers by Mitsis loyalty programme applies in the following loyalty-participating hotels: Mitsis Alexander the Great, Mitsis Belvedere, Mitsis Messonghi, Mitsis Selection Alila, Mitsis Bali Paradise, Mitsis Selection Blue Domes, Mitsis Cretan Village, Mitsis Family Village, Mitsis Faliraki, Mitsis Galini, Mitsis Grand Hotel, Mitsis La Vita, Mitsis Selection Laguna, Mitsis Norida, Mitsis N’U Piraeus Port, Mitsis Petit Palais, Mitsis Ramira, Mitsis Rinela, Mitsis Rodos Maris, Mitsis Rodos Village, Mitsis Royal Mare, Mitsis Summer Palace. 

14. Seasonality periods are defined and updated annually by Mitsis Group of companies and are published at: https://www.mitsis.com/en/earn-points.

15. Membership Tiers and Qualification Criteria

15.1 The Storytellers by Mitsis loyalty programme comprises four (4) distinct membership tiers, as outlined below. Tier status determines the level of benefits, rewards, and recognition available to each Member and is awarded based on a Member’s qualifying activity, measured either by the number of Eligible/Qualifying nights stayed at our loyalty-participating hotels (meaning a night that awards points in accordance with the loyalty programme’s point accrual rules, as set out in Clause 18) or by the Tier points accrued during their membership lifecycle.

15.2a The current minimum tier qualification requirements are as follows (valid until 14th June 2026):

  • Learner: This is the entry-level tier granted automatically upon successful registration to the loyalty programme.
  • Author: Achieved upon completion of ten (10) Eligible nights or accumulation of fifteen thousand (15,000) loyalty Tier points, whichever occurs first. 
  • Poet: Achieved upon completion of thirty (30) Eligible nights or accumulation of forty-five thousand (45,000) loyalty Tier pointswhichever occurs first. 
  • Mentor: Achieved upon completion of fifty (50) Eligible nights or accumulation of seventy-five thousand (75,000) loyalty Tier pointswhichever occurs first. 

15.2b Effective 15th June 2026, the tier qualification requirements will be adjusted as follows:

  • Learner: Entry-level tier, granted automatically upon successful registration to the loyalty  programme.
  • Author: Achieved upon completion of fifteen (15) Eligible nights or accumulation of thirty thousand (30,000) loyalty Tier points, whichever occurs first.
  • Poet: Achieved upon completion of forty-five (45) Eligible nights or accumulation of sixty-five thousand (65,000) loyalty Tier points, whichever occurs first.
  • Mentor: Achieved upon completion of seventy-five (75) Eligible nights or accumulation of one hundred thousand (100,000) loyalty Tier points, whichever occurs first.

After the effective date of 15th June 2026, any Member that does not meet the aforementioned criteria of Section 15.2b, will be automatically downgraded to the tier that corresponds to the criteria that this Member meets at that time according to 15.2b hereinabove, losing, automatically and at no reimbursement of any type, any and all benefits or other qualifications and rights, which that Member hold up to that time. 

15.3 Mitsis Group of Companies reserves the right to review and adjust tier qualification requirements, benefits, and qualifications at its sole discretion withοut prior notice and post changes on its official website or through direct Member communication, in accordance with Clause 23.

15.4 Tier upgrades are granted as soon as whichever of the previously defined qualification requirements (Eligible nights or loyalty Tier points) is met first. 

16. Benefits

16.1 The benefits provided to our Members are tier-based, as outlined in Clause 15.1, and may vary depending on the Member’s current level within the Storytellers by Mitsis loyalty programme. Members must present their membership card upon check-in at the reception desk in order to enjoy applicable benefits, as outlined in Clause 6.

16.2 Certain benefits apply only to selected hotels within the Mitsis Group of Companies. The availability, type, and scope of benefits offered may differ based on hotel category, location, season, and operational discretion, and are subject to change without prior notice.

16.3 All benefits, privileges, and exclusive offers currently applicable under each membership tier are published and regularly updated on the official Storytellers by Mitsis page: www.mitsis.com/en/benefit. This webpage forms an integral part of these Terms of Use and should be consulted for up-to-date information regarding tier-specific entitlements, and benefit eligibility criteria.

16.4 Unless expressly stated otherwise, benefits are granted exclusively to the registered cardholder, one adult beneficiary staying in the same room (as defined under Clause 2), and any dependent children under the age of 18. Benefits are strictly personal, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, other goods, or services.

16.5 All applicable exceptions, limitations, eligibility rules, and detailed use cases for each benefit are further explained in the loyalty programme’s official FAQs, accessible at www.mitsis.com/en/faqs, which also forms a supplementary reference and guideline to these Terms of Use.

16.6. Mitsis Group of Companies reserves the right to review, adjust, cancel or modify benefits at its sole discretion withοut prior notice and post changes on its official website or through direct Member communication, in accordance with Clause 23.

17. Deactivation of an account

Mitsis Group of Companies reserve their right to deactivate an account or membership to Storytellers by Mitsis, in case the Member has not used its membership for more than five consecutive years. Mitsis Group of Companies will retain in their system the membership, the account, the tier and the points for ten years and in case the Member wishes to redeem them, he or she needs to activate the account, which can be made only by proceeding to a new booking and after the completion of his or her stay to one of Mitsis Group of Companies’ hotels, the redemption process will be active again. 

18. Conditions for accruing points and nights

Definitions

Base points refer to the total number of points available for redemption, which may be used for free stays or Concierge services.
Tier points” refer to the total number of awarded points that determine a Member’s tier status and are not affected when the Member proceeds to redemptions.
Eligible/Qualifying nights” refer to the total number of paid nights spent in our loyalty-participating hotels during a single eligible stay that determine a Member’s tier status.

18.1 General Eligibility

Upon completion of an eligible stay, the Member shall be granted the corresponding Qualifying Nights, Base Points, and Tier Points, credited to the Member’s account in accordance with the loyalty programme’s point accrual rules. Points and Qualifying nights may only be accrued by registered Members of the Storytellers by Mitsis loyalty programme (“Members”) for transactions and activities that take place after the date of successful enrolment. Retroactive crediting of points for stays or services rendered prior to registration is not permitted.

Points and Qualifying nights awarded from eligible stays are credited to the Member’s account and the Member’s activity table is updated, within one (1) day following departure

18.2 Points and Qualifying nights Accrual for Hotel stays

18.2a) Direct Bookings 
When Members book their stay directly via the official Mitsis website (https://www.mitsis.com) or by contacting directly our sales and reservation department, Qualifying nights are awarded based on the total number of paid nights spent in our loyalty-participating hotels during a single eligible stay, while Base and Tier points are accrued based on the net euro amount (excluding VAT & city taxes) charged to the room and paid in full at checkout. The number of Base and Tier points awarded is calculated by multiplying the net euro amount by the applicable tier-based accelerators, as outlined below:

Room charges should be settled prior to departure. These include:

  • Room rate 
  • Concierge-eligible services (meaning a service that awards points in accordance with the loyalty programme’s point accrual rules, as set out in Clause 18.4)
  • Food and beverage purchases
  • Extra room-related charges (e.g. minibar, room service)

 Charges paid externally or not linked to the Member’s stay are ineligible for point accrual.

18.2b) Indirect Bookings 
For bookings made via third-party channels (e.g., travel agents, online travel platforms, tour operators), Qualifying nights are awarded based on the total number of paid nights spent during a single eligible stay, while Base and Tier points are accrued according to a fixed-point value per night, determined by the hotel category and seasonal periods as defined below:

These Base and Tier points are awarded per Eligible night (excluding complimentary nights) at loyalty-participating hotels. The booking must be made under the Member’s registered name and email address. Unless otherwise declared and confirmed at check-in, Qualifying nights and Base and Tier points will be credited to the Member whose name appears on the reservation. For more information on the loyalty-participating hotels and Seasonality, see next Clause, 18.3.

18.3 Loyalty-participating hotels and Seasonality

Points and Qualifying nights may be accrued only at participating hotels under the Storytellers by Mitsis loyalty programme. Hotel classifications and seasonal periods are determined by Mitsis Group of Companies and are subject to periodic revision. The most up-to-date property list and seasonal periods are maintained in Clauses 13 & 14 and published online at https://www.mitsis.com/en/earn-points.

18.4 Point Accrual for Concierge services

Members may accrue Base and Tier points on chargeable Concierge services available at loyalty-participating hotels, including but not limited to spa treatments, excursions, private transfers, yacht rentals, as listed on the official Mitsis Concierge platform (https://www.mitsis.com/en/concierge).

Members are required to log in to the Concierge platform with the Storytellers by Mitsis credentials when prompted by the platform, in order to accrueBase and Tier points for Concierge services.

Conditions apply:

  • The service must be charged to the Member’s room and paid in full.
  • The service must not be complimentary or part of a tier related benefit.

Points are credited according to the tier-based accelerators, applicable to direct bookings (see Section 18.2.a).

18.5 Point Accrual for Food & Beverage, and Extra Room Charges 

Base and Tier points are also awarded for additional spent during an eligible stay, including:

  • On-site dining, beverages, minibar that are not part of an existing package
  • Room service and other room extras 

These charges must be:

  • Billed directly to the room, and
  • Paid in full by the end of the stay.

Points are credited according to the tier-based accelerators, applicable to direct bookings (see Section 18.2.a).

18.6 Name Matching and Booking Validity

Bookings must be made under the exact name and email address associated with the Member's registered loyalty account. If discrepancies are identified, points and Qualifying nights will not be granted automatically. In such cases, points and Qualifying nights may be credited only if and after the Member submits a request via the designated Contact Center/Loyalty Programme/Claim missing points form, as described in Clause 18.9. Only one (1) Member per room shall be qualified to accrue points and Qualifying nights, the cardholder named on the reservation, unless the room leader’s name is changed at check-in. In such case, points and Qualifying nights shall accrue to the new room leader, provided that he or she is accommodated in the same room with the individual originally named on the reservation.

18.7 Room Eligibility and Multiple Room Bookings

Points and Qualifying nights are credited for a maximum of one (1) room per stay, per Member, unless the Member has booked a second room occupied by his or her dependent children under eighteen (18) years of age, in which case points and Qualifying nights may also be accrued for that room, subject to verification by the hotel.

18.8 Excluded Bookings and Transactions

Tier points, Base points and Qualifying nights will not be credited for the following:

  • Bookings for stays that are made through invitations, special promotions, auctions, complimentary stays, and courtesies do not accrue points during their stay.
  • Bookings or services consumed prior to enrolment
  • Concierge services booked through third-party channels
  • Bookings for stays or services made through redemption 
  •  Extra charges not billed to the room 
  • Tier-related benefits or complimentary offerings without extra charges

18.9 Missing Points Claims 

Qualifying nights, Base and Tier points are automatically assigned to the Storytellers by Mitsis membership card that the Members show to the Reception Desk during their stay in our hotels. If Members forget or fail to present their membership card to the Reception Desk during their stay, they should contact us via the designated Contact Center/Loyalty Programme/Claim missing points form. Requests to credit missing points and/or nights must be submitted within twelve months (12) of the completion of the stay; after this period, points will not be awarded.

Any missing points and/or Qualifying nights that are approved for credit following a claim, shall be calculated and awarded strictly in accordance with the Points and Qualifying Nights Accrual for Hotel Stays structure set out under Clause 18.2, as in force at the time the claim is submitted, regardless of the accrual rules, tier thresholds, points, or earning schemes applicable at the time of the stay.

19. Conditions for Redeeming Points

19.1 Members may redeem accrued loyalty Base points for hotel stays and chargeable Concierge services through the Storytellers’ Hub (https://www.mitsis.com/en/storytellers/login ), subject to availability, and the Member’s current Base points balance. 

19.2 Redemption may only be initiated by the registered cardholder, who must be logged in with valid credentials. Redemption towards free hotel stays operates on a dynamic points system, aligned with real-time room rates, and is subject to applicable blackout dates, seasonal pricing, and the Member’s current points balance limitations.

19.3 Base points may not be redeemed for room upgrades or services explicitly excluded under the Storytellers by Mitsis loyalty programme terms. 

19.4 In the event of a booking made using redeemed points being cancelled outside the permitted cancellation window, as defined in the applicable booking terms, penalties may apply, and the redeemed points may be forfeited in whole or in part. Specific cancellation deadlines and related penalties are outlined in the individual booking confirmation.

19.5 MITSIS reserves the right to decline any redemption for any reason, including, but not limited to, failure to comply with the prescribed redemption procedures.

19.6 A Member may not redeem points that have not yet been credited to their Storytellers by MITSIS membership account, including Base points that are expected to be awarded from a current or future stay.

19.7 Discount benefits listed and published on the official Storytellers by Mitsis page (www.mitsis.com/en/benefit) apply exclusively to payable services and are not valid for services booked through point redemption.

19.8 Detailed terms, limitations, and exceptions regarding point redemption are published on the official website at mitsis.com/en/redeem-points and in the loyalty programme’s FAQs, which form an integral part of these Terms of Use.

General Provisions

20. All trademarks, trade names, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights of any nature pertaining to the loyalty programme, Mitsis Group of Companies, Storytellers by Mitsis, the membership cards or any other property of Mitsis Group of Companies are owned directly by the Mitsis Group of Companies or their licensors and no license or other right is granted to the Members or guests thereof.

21. In no event will Mitsis Group of Companies be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, punitive, exemplary or consequential losses or damages of whatsoever kind arising out of a Member’s use of the loyalty programme, membership to Storytellers by Mitsis or the membership card, including loss of profit or the like, whether or not in the contemplation of the parties, whether based on breach of contract, tort (including negligence), product liability or otherwise.

22. Members may contact us directly via the designated Contact Center/Loyalty Programme/Account support form, for any information related to the Storytellers by Mitsis loyalty programme.

23.  Mitsis Group of Companies may revise these Terms of Use at any time and publish any amended Terms on this page, with the indication: “Last Updated Version” and the date (found at the bottom of this document) modified accordingly. Members are expected to check this page from time to time and regularly, in order to be informed of any changes made, since those new updated terms of use will be binding on the Members and the Storytellers by Mitsis. Some of the provisions contained in these Terms of Use may, also, be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our Site or in the revised Terms of Use.

24. If the Mitsis Group of Companies decide to waive any breach of obligation arising under these Terms of Use, this should not be considered as a waiver for any other breach or any future breaches. All rights and remedies under these Terms of Use are cumulative and are not exclusive of any rights or remedies provided by Law or by any other agreement.

25. If any part of these Terms of Use is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable Law, including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations provided herein, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid and enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of these Terms of Use shall continue in full force and effect.

26. These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Greece, without regard to their choice of Law provisions. The courts of Athens Greece will have exclusive jurisdiction over any and all disputes arising out of, relating to or concerning these Terms of Use, their interpretation, effect and application or in which these Terms of Use are a material fact.
