An important retrospective exhibition dedicated to acclaimed painter Thomas Fanourakis is presented in Heraklion, featuring 125 artworks that trace his artistic journey from 1940 to 1984. Through paintings, watercolors and rare creations, visitors have the opportunity to explore the evolution and distinctive artistic identity of one of the most significant modern Greek painters of the 20th century.

The Health & Sports Association invites you to the International Crete Half Marathon, which will take place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, in Arkalochori, Heraklion.

After a decade filled with success, emotions, and memorable sporting moments, the event returns renewed and refreshed.

The event includes:

• A Half Marathon (21.1 km)
• Road races of 10 km and 5 km
• A children’s race of 1,000 meters
• As well as a 200-meter race for people with disabilities
