These terms of use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms of Use” together with our Terms and Conditions found in https://www.mitsishotels.com/en/mfc-terms-of-use and our Privacy Policy for “Mitsis Friends Club” constitute the entire agreement and the terms and conditions that apply to your membership of our “Mitsis Friends Club”, also referred to as “Mitsis Loyalty Club & Card”, including the use of the advantages provided thereof. Please read these Terms of Use carefully before becoming a member of “Mitsis Friends Club”. By becoming a member of “Mitsis Friends Club”, you accept these Terms of Use and you agree to abide by them.

“Mitsis Friends Club” is provided by Mitsis Group of Companies that uses the trade name “Mitsis ”, all incorporated in Greece (hereinafter referred to as “Mitsis ”). 

1. The “Mitsis Loyalty Club & Card” are the property of Mitsis , which are its respective owners.

2. Mitsis Friends Club card is personal and non-transferable. One cardholder and one adult beneficiary, partner of the cardholder, are permitted per card and per family. Cardholders’ children under 18 years of age may, also, be permitted beneficiaries of the card. Cardholders and those persons registered as beneficiary members in the Mitsis Friends Club Loyalty Program are the only individuals who may use the card. The membership card is strictly personal. Collected points and related benefits are non transferable or cash refundable. You may not give, lend, transfer or resell your card.

3. The registration form (available at https://friendsclub.mitsishotels.com/Home/Join) must be completed in full for participation in the Mitsis Friends Club program.

4. Cardholders must be over 18 years of age.

5. Cardholders are obliged to inform Mitsis of any changes in their name, address and any other contact details and data provided under the program by sending an email to [email protected]. Cardholders may, also, change their personal data on the Mitsis Friends Club's website, at their profile after logging in at https://friendsclub.mitsishotels.com/Home/Profile.

6. Mitsis shall not be held liable for any malfunction caused to the members of the Mitsis Friends Club and guests that arise from non-compliance with the above-mentioned.

7. Benefits and offers apply only if the membership card is presented at the Reception desk during your stay. In the same context, when using your card, we may request that you show your identification card or passport, so as to confirm that the person using the card is the real cardholder, according to our records. In case of unauthorized use of your card or any other type of fraud, you may lose the benefits provided by the card and / or your Mitsis Friends Club membership.

8. Certain benefits apply only to selected Mitsis .

9. By completing the registration form and becoming a member, you provide your consent to Mitsis to send you promos, related marketing materials and mailings. The cardholder may withdraw this consent to receive promotional communications at any time by contacting the sender at [email protected] or by clicking not to receive promotional communications at their own profile at https://friendsclub.mitsishotels.com/Home/Profile.

10. Associates & employees in the tourism sector are all excluded from this program.

11. Guests whose reservations are made through invitations, special promotions, auctions, complimentary stays and courtesies do not accrue points during their stay.

12. After completing your registration to Mitsis Friends Club, the platform will automatically issue your Mitsis Friends Club card which you may print on your own and use it, in order to identify the cardholder as a program member. Participants, cardholders to the Mitsis Friends Club, who wish to receive their Gold Mitsis Friends Club card by post, have to provide their home address to [email protected] or to the Mitsis hotel they have booked.

13. In case you lose or damage your physical card or it is stolen, you may apply for a replacement. You are eligible for one replacement of a physical card in any 12-month period. If you request extra replacements within this period, we may apply administrative fees, unless your physical card was stolen, and you provide us with a legal declaration and the relevant police documentation. 

14. Redemption is dependent on the room availability of the selected hotel.

15. The benefits are provided to our members based on their status.

16. Mitsis reserve its right to discontinue cards and guest accounts if they deem that they have sufficient reasons for doing so. In addition, Mitsis may terminate this program, the cards or Mitsis Friends Club as well as all relevant benefits and privileges thereof for all members at any time and for no reason or reimbursement to its members with prior notification to all its members through the website of Mitsis or by email, if possible. Upon any termination, the rights, benefits and privileges thereof shall cease to exist and become void, in which case the cardholder or the member of the program or Mitsis Friends Club will have no right to request any reimbursement or conversion of their points to cash.

17.  Mitsis reserves the right to deactivate an account to Mitsis Friends Club, in case the member has not used its membership for more than five consecutive years. That means that the membership, the account, the tier and the points remain but not the possibility of redemption.  The member needs to activate the account by proceeding to a new booking and after the completion of this stay, the redemption process will be active again.

18. Mitsis reserves the right to cancel, withdraw or modify awards and benefits of the Mitsis Friends Club and card at any time without prior notice.

19. All trademarks, trade names, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights of any nature pertaining to the program, Mitsis , Mitsis Friends Club, the cards or any other property of Mitsis are owned directly by Mitsis or their licensors and no license or other right is granted to the members or guests thereof.

20. In no event will Mitsis be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, punitive, exemplary or consequential losses or damages of whatsoever kind arising out of your use of the program or membership to Mitsis Friends Club or the card, including loss of profit or the like, whether or not in the contemplation of the parties, whether based on breach of contract, tort (including negligence), product liability or otherwise.

22. CONDITIONS FOR ACCRUING POINTS

22.1. Points start to accrue as soon as the registration form is completed in full. Stays in hotels that took place prior to your application to join and become a member of the Program will not accrue points.

22.2. Points are automatically assigned to the Mitsis Friends Club card that the member shows to the Reception Desk during its stay in our hotels. If the member forgets to show its card to the Reception Desk during its stay in our hotels, the member must contact [email protected] within 12months after the visit, in order to request the assignment of points. After this period has lapsed, we may not assign any points to your card for your stay in our hotels.

22.3. Only one member per room can receive or exchange points.

23. The Mitsis Friends Club program applies in the following hotels: Alila Resort & Spa, Bali Paradise Hotel, Blue Domes Resort & Spa, Cretan Village Beach Hotel, Faliraki Beach Hotel & Spa, Family Village Beach Hotel, Galini Wellness Spa & Resort, Grand Hotel Beach Hotel, La Vita Beach Hotel, Laguna Resort & Spa, Lindos Memories Resort & Spa, Norida Beach Hotel, Petit Palais Beach Hotel, Ramira Beach Hotel, Rinela Beach Resort & Spa, Rodos Maris Resort & Spa, Rodos Village Beach Hotel & Spa, Royal Mare Thalasso & Spa Resort, Summer Palace Beach Hotel.

24. We may revise these Terms of Use at any time and publish any amended ones on this page. If we do so, we will post the revised version here and change the “Last Updated Version” (the date it applies from) at the bottom of this document. You are expected to check this page from time to time and regularly, in order to be informed of any changes we have made, since they will be binding on you. Some of the provisions contained in these Terms of Use may, also, be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our Site or in the revised Terms of Use.

25. If we decide to waive any breach of obligation arising under these Terms of Use, this should not be considered as a waiver for any other breach or any future breaches. All rights and remedies under these Terms of Use are cumulative and are not exclusive of any rights or remedies provided by Law or by any other agreement.

26. If any part of these Terms of Use is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable Law, including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations provided herein, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid and enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of these Terms of Use shall continue in full force and effect.

27. These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Greece, without regard to their choice of Law provisions. The courts of Athens Greece will have exclusive jurisdiction over any and all disputes arising out of, relating to or concerning these Terms of Use, their interpretation, effect and application or in which these Terms of Use are a material fact.
